Coil on plug probe TP-COP750
The signals on the secondary side of a Coil-on-Plug ignition system are difficult to measure. Each spark plug has its own pin coil mounted directly on the spark plug. There are no spark plug wires to which an ignition probe can simply be clamped. Use the Coil-on-Plug probe TP-COP750 to measure these signals.
The Coil-on-Plug probe TP-COP750 is a capacitive ignition probe for measurements of secondary ignition signals from Coil-on-Plug ignition systems (COP). In combination with an Automotive Test Scope, all Coil-on-Plug systems can be examined. Simply place the probe against the ignition coil and the secondary ignition patterns will be visible on your oscilloscope and can be examined. The Coil-on-Plug probe TP-COP750 is equipped with a 4 mm banana socket for connection to test leads with banana plugs.
