Information

What is included in the GMTO EV equipment expansion package:

  • NEN9140:2024 new NEN standard document
  • GMTO EV Multitester
  • Duspol two-pole voltage tester AC 1000V DC 1200V
  • High voltage system warning sign
  • Face shield

The NEN9140:2024 standard has been revised. The standard sets specific requirements for safe work on electrically powered vehicles. With the emergence of new electrically powered means of transport and technologies, this entails new risks and that is why the standard has been revised. The new NEN standard prescribes working with new equipment.

Before you can measure, it is important to make it clear at the post location that it concerns a zone where high voltage is present. This can be made clear by attaching the High Voltage System warning sign to the posts with chains.

There is a risk of an arc flash while working. It is important to use the correct protective equipment. This is the reason why GMTO has added the face shield in the GMTO EV equipment package and expansion package. Finally, we also supply the new NEN9140:2024 standard document that was released after the standard was revised.

Demonstrate no tension
The DUSPOL digital two-pole voltage tester offers the possibility to carry out the no-voltage measurement at the safest distance and with the test button on the measuring probe.

Perform diagnostic measurements
With the GMTO EV Multitester you can easily start an insulation, resistance or voltage measurement.

All measurements required for a good diagnosis can be performed with these instruments, such as:

  • Measure zero voltage
  • Perform diagnostic measurements on the insulation
  • Perform insulation error measurements
  • Earth continuity test (also called potential equalization)

In short, the GMTO EV equipment expansion package with all the necessary tools in accordance with NEN9140:2024 should not be missing in your workshop.
